You might have landed in the back of the store the wedding section, it is on opposite side of building which is the front!! On a table when you first walk in.

I sometimes forget to do that, and some don't care for full bright but with the gemstones I think it does make a difference.

I have 2 things to say: #1, I live on a beach and when I come out of the water, my swimsuit does dry after a few minutes of me resting in my chair. #2 Most visitors don't thoroughly enjoy what one has built, which means they don't actually go swimming or test the waters by walking out into them. This #2 is a sad fact. I wish visitors did in fact walk around, and try things out, but most don't. Everything else you wrote, is true, in my opinion. Peace.

Yes, it's a pity that sim design often isn't appreciated at all. Many people only come for freebies, parties (= chatting while their avatar is attached to a dance machine or plopped down on the line dance floor), more freebies or maybe virtual sex. Hardly anyone seems to have time for anything beyond that.
