TELEPORT TO TOWN

Built as a city town house: A very realistic model from the city hall in Wernigerode Germany, one of the oldest one in Europe. Great fun to make such an old town house ( built in 16 th century ) into the virtual world in one of our ports.

Arial view of Dragonspire. All of my region, The Land Of Xzar, is parceled, even the rivers so the places in the novel can all be named. Enable shared environment, though I keep messing with the skies. I can't make up my mind. Oh! And have your sound on. Though there are still silent pockets through the land. It all takes time...still building the last of it.
There are two entrances directly to Devil's Fork, the back way in, from Dragonspire, through the mountains, or down a lovely path to a gate. So after your visit to Dragonspire, (the house and gatehouse are my versions of a similar house built by Kismet in SL and I am slow at furnishing it, so mostly empty) take a stroll over to Devil's Fork, explore my little town of mostly my own builds in prim and texture, and have a drink at The Grande Phoenix or my favorite dive, Charlie's Bar. ;) See you soon!

BTW a lot of folks are visiting, no one is commenting or reviewing. Even if it is a bad review it would be appreciated.

My passion is building large architectural structures and regions for commercial, spiritual, and entertainment purposes, and doing them with highly detailed surfaces and textures. While I am not primarily in the business of making smaller items, in the process of making a venue I inevitably end up adding furniture, lighting, and accessories that match the style. A lot of these I make myself, but some, like this beautiful Art Deco Lamp, which will be part of my new OSFest build, I source from 3D modeling sites.

The first photo is of an original lamp from the 1920s, currently available on Etsy for about $300 usd. The second is the 3D model by Katmit developed for 3D printers. I purchased it on Renderhub for $12 and it came with an Extended Use license. After a lot of work with faces and UV maps I was finally able to get Firestorm to let my version upload, which is the last pic. I was meh about the plain globe, so I replaced that with something more interesting and added my light script. This little project took a lot more time and effort than I planned for, but I'll spend many happy moments sitting at the bar just looking at this lovely piece of art that began life a hundred years ago.

I found a really cute ladybug that he helped to animate and for the last two days, I have been carving out a bug paradise where everything is to scale if you were a bug. I have free avatars that Fred gave us, his Rat, Blue Bird, and I am giving the ladybug so that you can experience the garden too. Please make sure you wear the avatars while visiting the 3x3 Region Goliath Gardens I will be adding new avatars too, I found a great praying mantis!! One of the things I love about Devil's Fork is that it is a unique town. Almost every building in the town was built by me, for better or worse. :) What you see here is one side of a 4-store block with a 5th shop on one end. This is an old build I recently remodeled. These are my favorite shops in the town, Star Magik Has a few things made by me, but mostly tons of things I have found in OS and you can get a copy of most things in the shop.
