Tarot V3. This is a new version that I just made on 3/16/2024. It now can do reversed cards, and ill dignified cards. Now it automatically chooses whether the card is up right or reversed, and shows the appropriate meaning. I took the seed from the random number generator built into the computer, which is run by a crystal on the mother board of your computer. This crystal vibrates at a frequency and produces the number out of the vibrations. Amazing! Anyway, This new tarot table can show normal and reversed cards as a result, making the entire process much easier to read, and it now more closely follows the laws of chance just like shuffling a real life deck of tarot cards. Whether a card is ill dignified or well dignified is determined by looking to the cards to the left and right of the card. If one is reversed and one is normal they cancel each other out so the card stands as is. If both are normal it is positive reinforcement and strengthens the card in the middle. I see that the small group of haters who are ruining the OpenSIM and OSW community have already gone into total madness and disregard for any rights, laws or at least basic respect for the rest of the world. These people now allow themselves to spread outright slander for which huge corporations have filed lawsuits against them and/or their contributors. They allow themselves, without any evidence or justification, to charge anyone who is not their slave with serious criminal offenses and pass final sentences.
I won't list them by name only because the OSW rules don't allow it. But we all know them.
I will continue my principle of not using any bans. But common sense forces me to take some measures to limit the access of haters, religious fanatics, extremists, extortionists and the mentally ill. Starting today, access to all my regions will be under the "Group Access Only" policy. If you want access - ask and after thinking about it, I might answer you...

For the last 3 weeks, I have dealt with a intermittent issue on my grid that has about driven me nuts. I have tested, and eliminated possibilities …..without luck.

Yesterday two of the largest grid owners in open sim, Lone Wolf from Wolf Territories and Josh Boam from Aviworlds, took time from their busy schedules to help finally fix this issue. In addition , Rafael from Wolf Territories assisted. I cannot say thanks enough!

Although I work with Josh’s hosting business, this involved much more. Josh would not give up and recruited Lone Wolf.

In my opinion, maybe this is what opensim was designed to be: sharing of knowledge and helping each other.

Lone Wolf and Josh did not have to give up their time to help a tiny grid…..but they did!

Maybe we can all learn from these individuals!

FYI. The default setting of 2 threadsets can cause major headaches depending on your region….it is way too low in some cases. You all probably know that…but I learned.

This group was created 3 months ago. We have 61 members and 2 full pages of posts. The only group larger has 71 members. It was created 5 years ago. It has 7 posts. The photo is of a capuchin monkey being trained by an organization formerly known as "Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers for the Disabled, Inc". It was founded to raise and train capuchin monkeys to provide daily in-home assistance to people living with spinal cord injury or other mobility impairments.

They are transitioning from a service animal model, and are now exploring innovative assistive robotic technologies and the various uses of augmented/virtual reality. The aim is to use these technologies to assist those living with physical disabilities by helping meet their socialization, mental health and other health care needs. Another demo of tidal water, so this stream appears and disappears depending on the height of the tide. 99% of the regions on our grid use tidal water and there is a server that keeps them all in sync. You could have a castle with a tideal area around it that sometimes is under water and sometimes is not etc.

We have four new ruin style buildings & structures in store now. The cathedral is very big so please ensure you have room for that one when putting it out xD

I remember 2 years ago when I didn't even know how to edit-linked! Soon after I discovered landscaping and the gratification (and frustration) that comes with it.
Current project: a 16 sims joined into a private residential area for Darkheart's. A lake area in the middle, mountains at the very end (not visible).
This is the first piece of land, still in progress - just main shape buildings and cliff-ing.

We have 3 new vendors preparing to set up shops in our Star Jinn Palisade Mall here in the Masala Al Kohav region. As soon as they are ready to open will let you know and you can come check out their shops and see their positively gorgeous work. The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has 10,500 joyous ceramic figures sitting there waiting to wiggle. Compared to the number of strippers at a club waiting to wiggle, that is a lot more. Cyberglo has made an absurd and unfounded accusation against Silvia Frey. His post starts with a hysterical headline: PRISCILLA IS BACK!!! THIS TIME A NEW NAME/AVATAR.

I asked Cyber, "Answer just one question. In what way is Silvia Frey, who joined the Blackswan grid almost 8 months ago, and was known in the CopyKat Grid before that,"new?" So far, no answer. Obviously, she is not new.

Cyberglo identifies Silvia with a Blackswan grid address. Blackswan is home to a small group of friends who have been together in SL and now OS for over a decade. It looks like Silvia came to Blackswan in June 2023, when the CopyKat Grid closed. Maurice invited only a few trusted people from CopyKat to BlackSwan. It's doubtful that a guy responsible for keeping two grids safe would invite Priscilla Snot-rag to BlackSwan.

Several people have asked Cyber for evidence to support his wacko-nuts-cray-cray claim. One of them comments, "Hey Cyber. Almost a full day after you made this scaremongering and slanderous post. Obviously, you do not have any evidence. No logs, no screen caps, nothing."

Another person comments, "Why don't you allow Silvia to defend herself of your post? She is trying to access the comments and can't see the post". In other words, he has blocked her. Perhaps in his fevered imagination, he thinks she can take down his regions by just commenting on his OSW post. Did I say wacko-nuts-cray-cray already? It bears repeating.

I'm writing here because they don't even let me defend myself. Today I found out from a friend that a certain Cyberglo says that I am a certain Priscilla. Totally false. Not content with that, he has publicly exposed my IP and named the grids where I stay. Exposing an IP publicly goes against data protection and privacy. I implore this website to remove this information immediately. I don't care about the rest of the crazy article, since nothing is true and I have nothing to fear. He is a harmful being.Excuse my google English. Thank you.

I'm bringing this question to the group to see what suggestions you have. In the box, Star Ravenhurst asks, "What grids will help totally new people that join their grid? You have to teach them everything. Do any of these grids exist?"

My thoughts. People choose grids based on a number of criteria, such as cost of land ownership, the reputation of the grid owner, the dependability of the servers, and opportunities for shopping and socializing. However, people can travel to other grids for shopping and events, so the last two are perhaps less important.

Also, most of the people I've met have experience in SL. They need to learn what is different here. Which is what? How to run their own grid. Which grids allow you to attach your grid to theirs. How to get free land from other people. The number of people to expect at "big" events in OS. Some technical stuff -- I don't know -- scripting languages or something like that.

Then there are people who are total noobs. There are several grids that have sandboxes with instructional billboards set-up, like OSG. Anyone from almost any grid can visit regions like that. Some people have classes on different topics. But at times, people need one-on-one help.

So, a few requests, and a question.

1. Please name the grids that have the sandboxes with instructional material.
2. Please list classes that can help people learn stuff, especially the basics for noobs.
3. Are there instructional videos that teach basic skills?
4. Please say if you enjoy and are available to teach certain basic skills, one-on-one, to people new to the SL/OS family of virtual worlds.


The question is, is this group the best place to share this information for future use? Is there already an OSW group set-up for this? I think the best resource is a curated playlist of the best instructional YouTube videos. Anyone interested in doing that?

Our newest addition to the Star Jinn Palisade is my mixed prim and mesh Victorian Home. It features a wrap around porch, full basement, beautiful kitchen space with spindle shelves and a small breakfast counter and an arched doorway that leads to the dining space as well as a very open living room. Spiral stairs accent the small towered portion that is adorned with stained glass windows. Upstairs there is a Master bedroom with doors to a 2nd floor balcony, and there is a 2nd bedroom and bathroom. Walnut flooring and Victorian era wallpaper. And the Lattice work is 3D mesh; It's a little prim heavy but for the detail and beauty it can give to your sim, it's worth it. Blessings and much love, Lavia

Announcing the opening of the Raven's Peak Grid (ex Resurgence).

We managed to find an old backup from a month ago and have loaded it up. Not ideal, however we are all encouraged that not all is lost!

We have decided on a separate landing area to the main regions. You will now land on an island where you can TP to the region of your choice using the region teleporter.

The shops are open along with Hellfire Bay and Cinders Beach & Residential. We are all working hard to re-upload all our lost items and more! This means everything else has been put on hold so we can bring you quality items once again. So pop on over regularly because there will be new items in the stores daily.

If you were living at Cinders Beach prior to the hack, please contact Mike or Zoey. Either your island is still standing and needs to be handed back to you or it was lost. Either way, we can certainly assist.

Je lis parfois vos posts, vos écrits et je suis horrifiée de voir avec quel malin plaisir vous salissez ou pire vous dénigrez les gens ou les choses. C'est affolant. Aucune âme, aucune face. Alors bien sur j'ai comme tout le monde eu mes coups de colère mais heureusement pour ma santé mentale ca ne dure pas.
Nous avons la chance d'être sur une planète ou tout est gratuit bon sang! Avec les mêmes avantages que sur SL et manifestement ce que j'en lis, et hélas, constate les mêmes inconvénients! Expliquez moi : quel est ce démon qui vous rends jaloux parce que XX a fait un plus joli décor, ou plus grand, ou plus complets?? Quelle importance vraiment??? Est ce votre égo surdimensionné qui vous pousse à dire je veux plus de trafic que lui/elle? Quel intérêt?
Et la encore pire : en quoi la façon de s'habiller ou d'être d'une personne vous regarde?? Cela vous choque les nus? cela vous choque qu'elle ne mette pas de culotte? houlà !!! Mais faut consulter la!! ca relève de la psychiatrie en fait.

So, someone hacked into the Resurgence server and completely wiped it. Resurgence is gone. To the lowlife who did this, hope you’re happy with yourself. This wasn’t just an attack on me and Mike, it was an attack on a whole community of people and seriously, I don’t think anyone deserves this. Everything is gone. All our backups, OARs, IARs… Knew what you were doing didn’t you.

I’m not sure where to from here, I’m not sure if we will start over, I’m too angry and upset now to make any clear decisions. For now, it’s goodbye from me and Mike… lowlife, you won, congrats.
