opensim has supported something similar before, doesn't make sense to just now all the sudden change it.

it used to be u right clicked the saved outfit and clicked take pic and it did it with the in world camera, now that doesn't work.

Its possible that previously the viewer did the work for you to upload and apply from inventory. LL moved that to a new capability which OpenSim does not support and so now it fails. The viewer most likely replaced the old mechanism with the capability and replaced the old functionality with it.

I know i can upload texture and do it that way or take a pic with the in world camera and do it that way. but it used to be when u saved an outfit u could just snap a pic and boom it applied it. idk why they wouldn't think there was not a need or wouldn't support this anymore.

honestly the way you originally made the comment with me in it didn't seem like a compliment, it was confusing. However if someone was paying me for a service like a server for example, even tho there paying me i dont have to help them anymore then just with the server. it is my choice to help outside of what i am being paid for.

I don't want to pay money for something I'm not sure where the money is going to. If the transaction does not go through due to the creators paypal etc no longer existing, then why have it still listed on the MP? Maybe they have just overlooked it, though its been a year now.

sometimes too the creator is more in sl then kitely, ive found that out too. if i want it bad enough ill pay for it lol.

Thanks for sharing that information. It looks like it is not an easy process, but am going to guess that a lot of people, especially newer residents like myself, did not realize it was there at all.

No one polices it and i personally think that's partly why people rip the creators off on kitely. opensim is not connected to the marketplace in sl but its connected to kitely marketplace in some form or way. I dont get why people would want to rip creators off in kitely, and yes i know they have done it with sl copybotted stuff. But some of us pay good money for things we buy on kitely.
but we al know no one really polices that stuff or its happened so much they get tired of it.
However if people keep ripping off creators, eventually those creators wont make anything new and we will be stuck with old stuff.

I love the kitely market I have found some great things on there. I put any of my kitely items in my kitely folder in my inventory so i am very careful not to share them to anyone. I mean i paid good money for them and honestly i would hope others pay if they want it so bad.
I find it sad how some people just abuse god mode just to get or give away something free and ripping creators off from kitely. I never change owners with godmode on an item. my only use for godmode is if something is wrong with it like i need to edit a script. I generally dont have to do that with any kitely orders though.

ive repeated that over and over about kitely, its seems to get ignored. I love the people in kitely but i hate that you can be 13 to have an account.

"Children UNDER the age of 13 are allowed to create a Kitely account" - with certain conditions. "if you are a teacher, our terms enable you to give classes inside Kitely to your underage students once you’ve gotten their parents’ consent. You are not required to involve Kitely in the process". Which means, if you wish, you can pretend to be a teacher, and pretend the child has parental consent. And Kitely is not at all involved in the process.

complaining to zeta would do no good, i heard they dont really listen to people nor respond. I believe there grid is run by child avatars, I could be wrong but with that said no good would come of it.

the board at there welcome region seemed like all child avatars but it wouldn't allow me ot stay longer to find out, so perhaps i am wrong.
