I hope you are aware that if Linden activates it will mean the end of the hypergrid. Because that is the only way the copybot can disappear. As soon as one is spread again, everything is scattered across the hypergrid again. The consequences are enormous. You should all stop advertising freebee sims in Opensimworld. People should also remove images from Opensimworld that clearly show copybots. You are opening the door to anyone who wants to sue. There are already grids that have reacted. Locking it down and relying on groups does not protect you from punishment. Whether LL will survive this is another story, because they do not treat many customers fairly and also offer a lot of not entirely legal content in their grid. Successful countersuits could arise, which does not mitigate the offense but does enormous damage to LL. Then there is the assumption that someone builds a freebee mall, downloads it as an OAR, destroys the original grid and creates a new one. The original creators/botters can no longer be identified. So it will definitely be exciting and we should all be careful!
