21st September is WORLD PEACE DAY!

Whilst it may seem slightly frivolous, ZetaWorlds is having an event/party, We can't end the wars, the assault on Ukraine by Putin's Russia, the conflict in Gaza made worse by Israel's tamper tantrum, the military junta terrorizing Myanmar, but we can raise awareness and we can make a difference!

Anyone that buys a region that day, any package really, all proceeds will be given to Angel of Life aid for Ukraine! Let's raise some money!

I've created a new group to show solidarity with anti-fascism and opposition to other hate groups and individuals. No heavy deal, you don't have to do anything to show your solidarity other than joining the group, and maybe, if you feel you can, displaying the logo on your region or in your club to show that hate groups and anyone associated with them are not welcome.

Obviously those who want to get a little more involved are more than welcome to do so, such as arranging events with a prominent anti-fascist message, even if it's only displaying the logo on promotional materials, to much more ambitious things such as art displays that highlight the dangers of the extreme-right.

To remove all doubt, fascists and their fellow-travellers, (Trumpists, Faragists, Lepenists etc are not welcome! Prospective members are vetted and are subject to approval, which means it's a safe space for the wary.

This isn't a political group, so you won't be bombarded with ideology, it's simply a group for those of us who share a similar belief, that all humans are worthy. I'll even go so far as to say that members should leave both their politics and their religion at the door, whilst anti-fascism is a political stance, it is one that crosses political boundaries. We don't even have to like each other to show solidarity, a point worth remembering.

A List of OS LGBT+ Focused Places.
Perhaps, foremost, this groups serves our members as a refuge, and place to form connections and community. But the group is not just social. I hope it will be action-oriented. I'd like to help LGBT+ Focused places survive and thrive. We will also help promote LGBT+ Friendly places.

What is the difference between focused and friendly? LGBT+ Friendly places serve as friends and allies to the LGBT+ community. LGBT+ Focused places are intended to serve the LGBT+ community, but generally, are also open to all.

Many places that aim to be a gathering place have difficulty surviving in OS. But LGBT+ Focused places seem to have the hardest time of all. Most are listed by OSW as off-line, from anywhere between one month to seven years.

Here is a list of list of OS LGBT+ focused places that I found listed as on-line at the time of my search. I used the search terms “Gay”, “Lesbian”, “Shemale”, and “Trans” The information on the list includes Name / When Listed on OSW / Traffic Rate /Owner / URL / NOTE. They are listed in order of traffic rank. Most have dance clubs. (We could plan a Safari-style tour event at places without dance clubs).

The group description says that we work at "identifying and promoting places that celebrate pride, individuality, and diversity"

Identifying LGBT-Focused Places
• Use "region search" to find places with, for example, "gay" in their name/description.
• Call on our own and friends knowledge of such places.
• Put up a front-page post asking that owners of LGBT-focused places contact us.

Promoting - Plan A
Our main effort would be to help promote LGBT-focused places. We would rotate monthly events among them. Think of the Safari tours, but with a single destination each month. To be selected, these places would need to commit to cross-promoting Alliance events.

Promoting - Plan B
The aim is to create a community of LGBT-focused places that support one another. I've been cautioned that there are factions, politics and competition among them. So Plan B is to do Safari-like tours of LGBT-friendly places as well as any LGBT-focused place that agree to take part.

While there is a Plan and a Plan B, plan B would be easier to implement first. That means finding a good mix of LGBT-friendly and LGBT-focused places for Alliance events

The problem is that there are so many LGBT-friendly places (What a nice problem to have!) How do we go about picking which, and in which order, for monthly events that rotate among them? It makes sense to me to pick group member places first.

In addition, I'd like to have an annual fund-raising event for a group-selected organization that helps the LGBT community.

Great group, there is no room for hate, anywhere. Love is all there is :D Out and proud here, Lesbian cis older lady. Quite a few people already know me here lol. I'm honestly surprised to see any hate in OS as OS, and online in general has always been very inclusive in my experience. Finally! After a very long break, a new Stark! magazine has been published.

This issue was again photographed by Nice Minik. This time Nice deals with the thought of what it would be like to be able to see the fantasies of others. A very exciting topic, in my opinion.

The Stark North District is more than just an extension to Stark Islands. It's a full new region with the main sim North District plus 2 nice residential sims Archipelago and Causeway and an impressive nature sim called Straits. The main sim North District holds a bunch of shops. There are also some possibilities for nice roleplays.
