The Xara is the best IMO, as it has a programmable autohide mode. That can be used with any piece of LaraX compatible clothing.

No PBR viewers allowed? Not a problem, I can switch back to non PBR with Firestorm or Cool VL. Just a heads up... kind of a bummer as I wanted to use the dutch angle buttons for photos there from the latest Firestorm but I'll live. :)

Ehh... ok... 7.1.10 does have the dutch angle buttons. :D (but it's good for a brave few souls to test the betas, especially in Open Sim IMO as it gives the fs devs more incentive to keep the viewer Open Sim compatible)

I am ok with the GTX 1050 GPU. I turn all the shaders off, shadows off and use minimal reflection settings while traveling. I'll crank the settings for photos if wanted. The latest viewer improvements from Firestorm and Cool VL have made a difference for those of us with older PCs. :)

It's really sad that others have to bash or discredit your incredible works. No matter, I will continue to come back and marvel at some of your avatars. I especially love the science fiction avatars, they're my favorite!

Looks like Kindroid is the only one that can attach to NPCs in SL and Open Sim. I used to mess with Replika, but it's been a while, not sure if that can be used for the same purpose.

Hella is great! Met her a few times in world, on her jungle sim in OSgrid. She and Scylla Rhiadra of SL are some of the best virtual photographers I've come across. I know Hella is in SL as well.

Love what I've been seeing lately from your sim! Lots of sci fi and cyberpunk going on in your latest additions. I'll try to come in soon when I'm less busy in RL... and not distracted with anything from SL hehe :)

I always hear from SL folks that Open Sim is barren by comparison. In my experience, that's simply not true. I usually talk to more people in Open Sim while in world, vs SL. I'm not talking about group chats, there are plenty of those in SL, but talking to people in world, face to face. I get more of that contact in Open Sim. *shrug* just my dumb luck I guess lol 😂

Yes unless you have an established community in SL you can be just as lonely there as in OS.

There could be two reasons for those SL users' perception.
One, they're used to absolutely massive crowds, so they perceive even what happens at big anniversary parties as "only few people here".
Two, like many other OpenSim newbies/non-regulars, they don't know OSW, so they don't know how and where to look up parties and busy places.
If you teleport and/or walk around randomly, it could happen that you meet nobody.

Curious... are you implementing any PBR stuff in your sim? Or can I stick to using the non PBR viewer for now? My PC holds up OK while running PBR, for now.

I haven't implemented any pbr on my regions as of yet, so what you're seeing is all materials textures. The new viewer has too many issues so I'm still on the previous version.
