I stumbled across something cool today. I have been working on a huge cluster of 6x6 regions, with all mis-matched, imported terrains. So there was a LOT of terraforming and blending, which can take a long time with the land tool. I discovered a debug setting "LandBrushSize" It normally maxes out at 11, but you can set it to cover a HUGE area and very quickly flatten out sim edges and smooth them, build mountains quickly, etc. You can get to the Debug settings with control-alt-shift-S and type "LandBrushSize" in the search box. It set mine to 30 or 40 to do large areas.

I put out the avatar clone machine, that we had discussed earlier. It is a concentual "donate your body to the dance machine" script. A person who wishes to donate types "clone-me" in chat. It generates a preview, and the person types "confirm" in chat again to finish donating their appearance. It's at our club on the welcome region. Follow the paw prints. :) There is a vendor box next to it, that will give you a copy of the board for your own use.

The 3.9 earthquake in New Hampshire this morning was my fault. i was manifesting. :D I started working on Hobomock the giant last night. He is a deity in Algonquin legend that causes earthquakes and changes the course of rivers. I must have woken him up. :)

Another fun project. "The Legend of La Mariecomo" She was a legendary witch of south-east New Brunswick Canada, who lived from 1838 - 1910. She was like the Marie Laveaux of Canada. I learned of her while studying my Mi'kmaq and French ancestry. I think we have a few people from that area in OpenSim. If anyone knows of her story, I would love to hear from you.

There is a book that is out of print, unfortunately: La mariecomo: Roman (Collection Les Romanciers du jour ; R-112) (French Edition)

"Mariecomo is the story of an Acadian witch (born in 1838, died around 1910) who made the rain and the good weather during the second half of the 19th century in the Acadian villages of the southeast coast of New Brunswick. Exciting news, the Sky Harbor Museum of Flight is now part of and connected to the overall Neverworld Bountiful Continent.

The new area is called Sky Lands and incorporates the Sky Harbor Museum of Flight, AfterBurn dance and event center, the Aviation Center for the Arts, and the NWG Airport.

From here you can travel by land, sea, or air to the whole Bountiful Continent.

We hope to see you visit soon. And please, give me a shout out anytime you visit.

A heartfelt thank you to Ferd Frederix for opening my eyes to the creative possibilities of Firestorm Viewer. Your insights into Field of View (FOV) lighting effects have truly transformed my virtual photography and builds.

With Ferd’s guidance, I explored how to use light leaks and colorful textures in Firestorm’s FOV editor. Here’s how you can do it too:

Create or Find Textures: Use Photoshop or download light leak textures. Save them as PNG or TGA.

Upload to Firestorm: Import textures into your inventory.

Apply in the FOV Editor: Open the FOV settings, drag your texture into the designated slot, and adjust opacity, rotation, and position.
Experiment: Play with blend modes and colors for seamless integration.

Sync with WindLight: Combine with environment settings for cohesive, cinematic effects.

Ferd, your tutorials have been a guiding light, helping me turn creative visions into reality. Thank you for sharing your brilliance with the virtual community—you’ve made our worlds magic!

This is a replica of a RL rocker I have, rusted horseshoe rocker. I created it trying to make the shoes rusted looking so they are missing a few "faces" on the mesh, to try to resemble rusted out, I am still working to make it better but this is at the dump, it is a fun addition to western themed sims.

Gracie and Dexter Dung Beetle, an official NPC mascot symbolizing hard work, transformation, and finding beauty in the most unexpected places. Gracie was not just a character; she represented the spirit of resilience and ingenuity that our community was built upon.

Unfortunately, some members of the organization decided that Gracie no longer belonged and expressed a desire to remove her. As an owner of the organization, this was heartbreaking to hear. So I have created a sanctuary here for her at my Sandbox, those of you wishing to visit Gracie and Dexter they would love your support. Firstly "Happy New Year" everybody!

zetaworld grid automatically logs out any hypergridders from dynamic dns grids from visiting them (SUPER RUDE ZETA!), so in return I've done the same, so if zetaworld residents get logged out when hypergridding to "http://snik.loseyourip.com:8002:home of merci" then that will be the reason why.

I'm more than happy to reverse my decision, assuming zetaworld does the same :)

I'm trying to be a more positive, encouraging, creative and empathic individual, but currently I'm struggling. I'll do my very best to do better in future. :)

Always happy to share grid admin tips along with general opensim support and help, generally, I don't bite, unless you do :)
