Windows 10 update on 3/13/2024. Guys be careful. This broke my dreamgrid to pieces. I've tried reinstalling dreamgrid from scratch with saved oars and iars. nope. Microsoft sent me an update at 3 am, and my dreamgrid is not only royally botched. But I cannot get a suitable dreamgrid back up and running. I have also lost all the magic huds I created, and many gadgets I created for all of you. So if you still have them be sure to save copies, as I do no have them any more. I do not know at this point when or if I will get dreamgrid back up and running. I've been working on it for 8 hours with no luck. At this point I am ready to give up.

GET A TEXT MESSAGE ON YOUR CELL PHONE WHEN A REGION GOES DOWN.
How to get text messages, emails, pushover, telegram, and jabber alerts if a region goes down on your grid. Well it's easy. Download servermonitor from https://github.com/phpservermon/phpservermon Next unzip it and upload it to your linux box. I put the files in /var/www/html/servermonitor.
Next get on your web browser and go to websiteaddress.com/servermonitor/install.php Fill in the questions. Set up a web database of your choosing. Create a user and a password. I did this: create database servers; create user 'someone'@'localhost' identified by 'password'; grant all on servers.* to 'someone'@'localhost'; flush priveleges;
Once that is set up, it's a breeze. Use the web interface to add servers to your list. For regions just enter a service and the port number the region is on. example service, custom port, 8007 Then select how you want to be notified if the region goes down. e.g. email or sms text message, etc. Finally using crontab -e enter * * * * * /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/servermonitor/cron/status.cron.php You are done. Now if one of your regions goes offline you will know about it in 60 seconds. Also you can add websites to the list to be monitored, mail servers, any kind of server really. It has a looooong list of server types that can be added. (very handy). Additionally you can click on a region and see it's uptime plotted hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly as well as LATENCY. We all know how important latency is for showing lag. :) Enjoy!

HOW TO USE THE MAINFRAME.
Download the free program wc3270 for windows. Install it. Set up a connection to cyberdatastorm.com:3270. Your logon ID & PASSWORD will be USER100 & PIZZA OR USER101 & TACOS . You will have access too JCL, COBOL, ASSEMBLY, C++, REXX, and will be able to use the SYSDUMPs. You will be on sysplex1 with full access to 3380, 3390, and 3350 DASD. You will also have access to IBM 3420 TAPE Unit. You can explore what a mainframe operating system is like and how it is different from personal computers. Obviously you will not have access to TOP SECRET or RACF. I often say that anyone can learn PC stuff (personal computers) like Linux, Windows, or Apple OSX by reading just 1 thick 2000 page book. But for the mainframe you need to read about 200-300 of those thick 2000 page books. It is way more complicated. There are 5 mainframe operating systems: IBM Unix called AIX, IBM vm/cms, IBM os/400, Digital Equipment Corp VMS, and the Zos family. This mainframe you are logging into is in the Zos family. It does support full ISPF/TSO and CDC's (cataloged datasets). You will not have access to easytrieve, expediter, endeavour, and CICS.

This was one of my first builds when I came to Open Sim. I had to make all of the textures, and it wasn't very good as I was still green at building. Yesterday I remodeled and straightened walls and linked it all together except the garage door and the toilets with animations and I think the garbage can in the bathrooms. A couple of other things, so use your build window to rez and place. It is now in a box and for the first time, I am offering it for free for anyone that wants it. Hi Everyone , just a post for new people. I run a few free malls within Neverworld Advantis , All Free Shopping Spree , Free Port and have a hand in many more places . We try to keep alot of our items full perm . Plase on any sim you are visiting remember when you click on a vender that item has to be sent from the grids server you are on to your home server. If you click to fast walking around hitting everything like machine gun kelly all that will happen is scripts will stop working and servers will stop communicating . All we ask as sim owners is take your time you do not want to crash sims or just not receive items.

I repaired MAHJONG by Xylor Baysklef. The amazing Xylor made this years ago, and it was broken and stopped working. I just went through thousands of lines of code and fixed all 13 broken scripts. Now it will work in dreamgrid or anywhere. :) I'm leaving it at cyberdatastorm.com:8002:SandBox This is a fun 1 person or multiplayer game and it is very advanced and sophisticated.

Here is a parking garage for your town or city. The arms raise to allow entrance. The top part is faux so only the bottom floor is accessible but you get the look of a full parking garage without all the prims. (40 prims total, without cars.) we are approaching the first anniversary of this incredible journey. Looking back, I think it has been a challenging but also a very fulfilling year. We made important relationships, met so many people and created events that made us laugh so much. In short, it has been a good journey and I look forward to continuing it for a long time to come.
In this year we have seen a vibrant community full of positive energy grow. Each of you has contributed to making New Life Italy a special place where we can express our passions, share our ideas and support our dreams. We have faced challenges and overcome obstacles together, strengthening our bond and proving that, united, we can achieve any goal.
It was wonderful to see how much creativity and commitment you put into each project and event. From the weekly meetings to the big events, every moment spent together was precious and left an indelible mark in our hearts. The laughter, deep conversations and new friendships born in this year are the real treasures of this experience.
We are working on a big party to celebrate this first major milestone together. It will be a surprise party for many of you, because we deserve it and you deserve it! We want to celebrate not only the time that has passed, but also the future that lies ahead. The party will be an opportunity to relive the best moments and prepare for new adventures together.

Hello Friends! I have been busy working on my shop and have made this sweet stone house available. It comes with a stone wall you can use as well. I built it for Braewood Forest in The Land Of Xzar, so visit there if you would like to see it furnished with the things I made for it as the one at the mall is unfurnished. All should be copy if anyone wants, or ask me. I have included a kitchen you can place if you wish.
I have added a lot of landscaping items: planters with flowers, ground flowers and plants, and a beautiful collection of trees made with AI-generated textures. There are also some new water lilies to add to your ponds, as well as a wooden gazebo with a dance ball.
I make all of my content using sculpts and prims. The shop is full of decor and finishing pieces that help turn a house into a home.

Creating a script to allow in-world users of OpenSimulator to chat with a channel on Telegram requires the use of HTTP requests. This involves creating a bot on Telegram that can receive and send messages, and an LSL script in Second Life to interact with this bot.

Step 1: Create a Telegram Bot
Open Telegram and search for BotFather.
Start a chat with BotFather and use the /start command.
Use the /newbot command to create a new bot, and follow the prompts to name it and get the token.
Step 2: Create a Webhook to Communicate with Telegram
You'll need a server to handle messages between OpenSimulator and Telegram. Here's a simple example using Python and Flask.
