Recently I have been contemplating the current issues facing the world and the terrible Burdens that so many are carrying. It made me think on my favourite character in Lord of the Rings, Samwise Gamgee. A humble hobbit with a heart to serve those he cared most about. A heart brave enough to follow his friend into what could be considered hell. Sam had made a promise to Gandalf that he would not lose Frodo and he intended to keep to that. The image above is what i have been contemplating for todays world, that Sam could not carry Frodo's burden of the ring but he could carry Frodo. How can this scene apply to us? What can we do? In what way can we respond to the burdens of the world.
There are so many burdens and we cant possibly carry them all or we will break. I feel the answer to this question is to "Pick a burden today that we feel we can help another carry!" It can be a small burden or deed that you choose but help someone carry it. Come alongside someone who is in need, spend time chatting to someone who is lonely, donate to a cause you feel for. We can also do things for others in world, help someone with a project, say something nice about their builds, be excited for what they have created. Also reach out to someone whom you have a grievance with and take responsibility for your part in it. Connect with those outside your social circle, get out of our echo chambers and listen to what others have got to say. We cant control what others do but we can sure as heck control ourselves and our responses to others.

New Release: Arcadia's Weather System
It's been a while heh.
Some weather change gives a lot of life to your sim, either a forest, a beach or a city, rain will infuse extra charm to your daily activities.
With that in mind let me present you my weather system, it's a controller of slave clouds that will emit rain particles, rain sounds and thunder sounds. But that's nothing new right?
My version also features up to two automatic rains per day, you set the time of the day and it will rain at those times for one hour. Nice huh?
Oh? Not enough? what if I told you it will also change your sky settings to overcast and cloudy while it's raining? Yep it does, assuming you have permissions to change the EEEP settings of your parcel it will make it overcast while raining and will return to your normal EEEP setting when stops.
Don't want to get cloudy? no problem! I also include a version that won't change your sky hehe.
Also, it features an access list, so either anyone or just a selected few will be able to operate the system.
Finally, please read the manual, I explain everything in detail, including the setup of the system.

Well I already went there with Halloween in July so why not Christmas. If you want to look delicious for the Holidays you may want to wear the Gingerbread Man avatar I made, or, you can just have him dance around as an animesh along with his mini gingerbread animesh friend. If you are really brave and don't mind being stepped on occasionally, wear the mini Gingerbread Man avatar :D
The cone flower as I call them or "echinacea" the official name. Apparently the name echinacea is from the Greek word meaning sea urchin due to the flowers' center. They're perennial so no need to replant each year (especially the virtual variety).
Turns out that the animesh ghosts at the shop did a little asset disappearing act on the week end. Thank you Thomas for letting me know. I've replaced all the items in the box and tested them several times taking them in and out of inventory and the replacements seem to be working just fine. The ghosts come in 2 movement patterns both with or without random spooky ghost sounds.
I was walking by them this morning and thought, hey, why not post pumpkins and Jack O Lanterns on the 4th of July......I don't know, it was like they were speaking to me, the Jack O Lanterns will mock you if you touch them.
Small new release today. It's a table top palm plant, versions with and without animated leaves depending on indoor or outdoor use. It's inside the shop building over by the vases.
Rhododendrons...the perfect thing when you're not sure if you want flowers or a shrub. They come in 3 group sizes so you can fit a small or larger space.
The Whirligigs...I'm sure there's some other official name for them but that's what I call them. These have parts that spin in opposite directions so they really add some movement to the landscape, put in one or more of these, some animesh butterflies and animated tree leaves and it's a happening place :)

Cherry blossom trees can make a mess on the ground, but, when you're pretty and pink, all is forgiven. The mess the Encantada trees make is always removable so, win/win.
A while back I made a simple beach hut, somewhere to get out of the sun. It looks great with Arcadia's rattan dining set and tiki torches!
Encantada Aloe Vera, handy when you've been out in the sun too long. Also handy if you have a cactus garden or just plain live in the desert.

Wire recorders was a technology that pre-dates tapes for recording sounds, instead it used a very thin steel wire to store magnetically the voice. The wire itself was fragile and prone to break and that was the reason why it was quickly replaced by tape as soon as the technology was available.
The wire recorder I offer has two functions, if the owner clicks on it it'll give you the option to record something or deliver the stored messages, if anyone else clicks on it it will start recording whatever is said in local chat. It's a small utility to pass messages to the owner of the device.

Some snowy, some without. Technically the evergreens can be year round but I like how they look in the winter section of the shop. A few varieties of spruce and some pine too. Sadly, I can't give them virtual smell.
I've made several fountains. This one is probably the least conventional, I call it the "Leg Jug" (so original, I know). I was either feeling creative that day or experiencing some kind of opium soaked dream from another life. Anyway, for the creative gardener, it's pretty versatile, it can be used on it's own or in other fountains.

The Fokker Dr.1 had a rotary engine, that means the whole engine rotated with the propeller, it was cutting edge tech for WWI! However those engines couldn't actually throttle, you could make it slightly faster and slower by modifying the mix of fuel/air and that was that.
My replica tries to emulate that by allowing you to throttle it from 70% to 100% only, so to land you need to actually cut the engine and if you want to stop once on land you need to turn your engine off, otherwise you will end smacking your tushy against something and no one wants that, right? =D

To make it as accurate as possible I found the original Boeing manual for the thing and copied it as best as I could, each Apollo mission had a slightly different LRV, particularly the tools it carried, this one was the simplest one so to save geometry and make it as light as possible I choose the very first one that went to the moon.
You can try it at the runway or just get your copy, it's easy to drive as it doesn't have gears, just sit and drive!

In the case of the picture you'll get the Draeguer suit, a high altitude pressure suit that was used by the pilots of the Horten prototype.

The bridges installed next to the shops are the very last pure prim builds I've ever did.
These relics of the past are still available on the shop, and I personally still use the bridge's columns for other purposes. This clearly demonstrates that prims have it's place in the metaverse along with mesh.

Product update: Rattan Set.
Thanks to Lotek who helped me to find and squash a weird bug in the script of the rattan set table, (it used to "say" the options you clicked, very strange), now it works properly.
Also I added a table cloth when you select the "Flower" option.
Also I converted it from PMAC to SFPoser.
The Rattan Set is better than ever, you can pick the upgraded copy at the main shop =)
