The Communist Party approves or selected each person for office. That's "Communism"

I'm not even sure what you're responding to there Fred. Equal could be said about the Trump MAGA nutcases, as they do exactly the same. Putin quite clearly isn't a communist, even if he once was, he is now far more of a right-wing authoritarian who has quite a lot of support from the Russian extreme right, as well as from gobshites like Trump.

From your comment, I would also guess that, at least from what you've written, that you don't have much of a clue what communism is either. Wikipedia has an article that serves as a useful introduction.

*To be clear, lest some suspect that I am, or that I advocate communism, I do not, and certainly not in the way that is was implemented in the Soviet Union, or its satellites. But neither do I endorse the fascism that is slowly, but seemingly inexorably creeping up on us on both sides of the Atlantic.

We are a nation of laws that are there to save us people like you. If you have active tuberculosis, I will be the first person to report you so you get arrested and locked in a special hospital cell. You will deserve it for being irresponsible. https://www.cdc.gov/tb/programs/laws/menu/emergencydetenti...

This is not about choice. Covid vaccinations prevented an estimated 14.4 million deaths (95% credible interval (13.7–15.9) from COVID‐19 in just the first year. Thats whats important, not that you got sniffles.

This is about choice always should be. Be careful not to let the govt get that sort power to determine what goes into your body.

FDA asked, not Pfizer. And at 55,000 pages a month, it took 9 months to release them all.

Studies, by qualified researchers, using scientific procedures, published in a peer-review journal. and the findings replicated by other researchers.

A corrupt process that is increasingly coming under criticism. Several reputable journals were caught with their pants down because of biases they put through their publications. Not surprising considering some of the large pharmaceuticals we're doing their advertising through them. Studies that were not favorable to them were pulled before they even made it through the peer review process.

On my sixth, never had it, likely never will. No long covid for me. Been in a room with 7 people, five who got it.

Never had the vaccine, had covid for like 6 hours and a bit tired for a week after, no long covid for me either. Have never had it again. Yet I hear of people who have had the vaccine and boosters coming down with Covid several times. It may not be the vaccines protecting you at all could just be your natural immune system working.

It saves you from dying. Almost everyone who has had the shots has a very mild case, and there are very few hospitalizations. Compare that to the tens of millions who died from a lack of vaccination.

Odds of vaccine injury are rare. In all cases of FDA approved vaccines the risks benefits are more than the downside. Take for example, Covid-19 vaccines.

Anaphylaxis after COVID-19 vaccination is rare. It has occurred at a rate of approximately 5 cases per one million vaccine doses administered. People receiving COVID-19 vaccines are less likely to die from COVID-19 and its complications and are at no greater risk of death from non-COVID causes, than unvaccinated people.

Analysis of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) after COVID-19 Vaccination found no increased risk of GBS after Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccination.

Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) has been rarely observed after J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccination and has occurred in approximately 4 cases per one million doses administered. No cases have been observed with other vaccines.

These are peer-reviewed results published at the CDC with data taken from the Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD). As time has passed and more safety data have accumulated, the initial finding has decreased, and scientists believe factors other than vaccination might have contributed to the initial finding. The current evidence does not support the existence of a safety issue.

Well now. You expect facts to persuade people who think, "I'd rather my child be dead than autistic?" Not going to happen.

I have discovered that an open src program I use (nssm.exe) is being reported falsely by several AV programs. It's src is clean and there is no virus.

This is rare but sometimes happens. MSFT Defender and Malwarebytes can't find anything. Can you post the message or the file its finding? If it is really a false positive, MSFT wil remove it after I report it. You may have to lookin inside Defenders settings to find the name.

Thanks Fred. I managed to get DreamGrid to run after I turned off all my security. If I didn't MS Defender would just delete the start.exe file from the Dreamgrid package.

Prim a collider over their head to stop it. TP them back. Problem solved
like(3)
What is a collider? is it just a massive invisiprim rezzed at a certain height? Forgive my ignorance, but I'd like to know as I too experience quite a few visitors who think it's okay to fly in a no fly region. Most of my region builds are built specifically to be viewed 'first person shooter' style walking and it's a bit galling, to say the least to have visitors think they've truly seen the region when all they have done is rather cursorily flown over it, missing most of what there is to see.

Many of us work tremendously hard to create rich, immersive environments where we have built with a particular way of seeing it in mind. Flying over this kind of creation is to miss what the artist intended the viewer to see.

You need to block people from rezzing objects. Go set the land so this can't happen. Bans are trivial to get around. Mac address bans, IP bans, Disk Id bans are a click to route around.

From one grid owner to another. You are banning a Loopback adapter on a grid owners Server.

This is a false alarm. It is the hashed MAC address of a loopback adapter. Note that on the Mantis, they have different hashed disk ID's.

All Loopback adapters on Linux and PC's use the same Mac address. I found this out when I banned myself.

I don't see that GDPR applies here. Perhaps German law says otherwise. I see no legitimate reason we must keep this private, when we have an obligation to minimize the monetary damages she is causing. According to Recital 50...."which constitutes a necessary and proportionate measure in a democratic society to safeguard, in particular, important objectives of general public interest, the controller should be allowed to further process the personal data irrespective of the compatibility of the purposes".

Also, "Indicating possible criminal acts or threats to public security by the controller and transmitting the relevant personal data in individual cases or in several cases relating to the same criminal act or threats to public security to a competent authority should be regarded as being in the legitimate interest pursued by the controller."

Grid owners using DreamGrid have a button to disable rez and script rights in all sims. You need to be aware of a problem - loading an OAR can and will reset those rights. ABout half the free OARS at Outworldz.com have this issue. DreamGrid V5.26 has a patch that prevents that from happening after any load OAR.

For other grid users, a simple bit of SQL can be used to remove such rights.

Try to get your gid updates to help prevent it.

Pretty much none of it is true. 8002 is not what is claimed nor is 8003. Those are http Session and Region udp ports and are not mysql. 9000 may be a standalone or a grid. It could be ice cast. It could be anything they want

8003 can be open or closed because it's a choice. Osgrid leaves it open and they don't get hacked. It's what make osgrid a GRID.

Not using mysql and sqllite at the same time? Nonsense. Its standard to run both and is core functionality. Stats uses it.

Rdp is encrypted with kerborous and is as secure as ssh.

File the above post as misinformation.

Everything I produce is digitally signed by Microsoft Authenticode and will not run if a single bit changes. No other Opensim system takes security this seriously.

Just to clear up some misconceptions here: A fork is not someone adding anything to someone else's code. It's someone copying it. Adding would be a "push". Only Ubit Umarov (our #1 core dev) and I have permissions to push to DreamGrid.

There are no changes to this code since it was originally added last January. Anyone who understands git can see this. Or just look at https://github.com/Outworldz/DreamWorld/tree/V4/MSFT_Runti... The code inside is easily examined and scanneable by just extracting the EXE using any zip tool.

The version we run is from Jan 13, 2021. It has not been changed since then. Nothing else about anyone else's code is relevant.
The only time it was installed on any machine was shortly after that, when you first updated. It runs once, and never runs again, so you can delete it.

Thank you Fred, I deleted it, and everything is fine now. Peculiar behavior, but it's the truth. Also it is true that clamwin av did mark it as being infected with a trojan. Very easy to fix, please do not panic people.
