About Myself
I started singing before I was old enough to talk. At 10 months old I was turning heads at the grocery store, humming "Jingle Bells" from start to finish while being wheeled around in the grocery cart by my mother.
And I've been singing ever since...
Don't let the accent fool you, this Southern Belle loves every kind of music in the world. My philosophy is, "Music is proof that we have a soul," so I've sung everything from Opera to Contemporary music of all genres, and recently even expanded into K Pop from 2nd & 3rd generation groups.
I have a background in theater, singing live at clubs and on the streets as a busker. I play a number of different instruments including piano, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, French horn, and djembe drum, but my heart belongs to my guitar because it was the first thing I learned to play at 6 years old.
I'm currently recording my first full album which will be titled, "Finding Home". This collection of original works is a reflection of my eclectic tastes. Songs are inspired by my own colorful life, and also by the stories that people have shared with me over the years. More details will be released this fall.
