Jupiter does not speak on behalf of Zetaworlds, and if you know Jupiter, everything always comes down to casting aspersions about content; He's been grinding that axe so long that it's a wonder there's anything left of it. Nobody can keep such content out of their grid, and unless someone who actually holds rights to all that allegedly stolen content serves an actually proper, legal takedown notice to the 1000-plus grids with all the duplicate asset IDs and modified creators, that content will continue to be resident in Opensim. Well over 6 million assets to identify, assuming that it is all stolen (it isn't) and the sellers in SL didn't steal it themselves (quite a few have). So this is not about content, and don't drag that into some moan about Zetaworlds.

As was explained to you (Cheryl) in your ticket, and as you were referred to on the Zetaworlds website, for your mare.de grid to be accepted, it's pretty simple. Add a website, TOS and a mail address to contact. You are required, not by Zetaworlds, but by DENIC to provide an imprint page (Impressumspflicht). You choose not to acknowledge that and then complain here. See https://www.webgo.de/impressum/ for an example imprint required of the .de domain holders.

No grid that has properly done all of these things has been banned by Zetaworlds, or is likely to be, as the requirement is that any abuse or problems can be discussed with the actual owner of the grid, not just some user of that grid. However all of the true troublemaking grids do not have a website, TOS, contact info, takedown policy, etc.

One of the main tasks of operating a grid is protecting users and systems from harm and that includes preventing bad data from spreading around and causing problems. The amount of work to clean up people's broken friend lists, group lists, assets, inventories, every time a ddns named grid changes the IP address (let alone those too lazy to even put up a DNS name at all!) is significant. Most grid admins would rather not have to deal with it. But those broken friend links and creator links cause rezz times to be slow, TPs to fail, assets to break, and then people complain that the grid is slow. Ask any of the large region owners in Zetaworlds how much we work to keep the grid running well. This is not a political statement that Zetaworlds is banning grids on a whim.

The hypergrid design has flaws that will take time, effort and the will to fix, and not everybody keeps up with Opensim development, and there are forks of opensim that are no longer maintained and persist compatibility issues. And there are forks of Opensim that are far more restrictive; ask Jupiter about Consortium.

Personally.... I accept Zeta's right to do this - frustrating as it may be. I choose to run my own grid. It's not on a dynamic ip, and I am an IT professional with 30 years experience of Linux, however I don't have a website that maintains my contact details - so I "shouldn't" be able to connect to Zeta. I have before - but expect that will quickly be stopped now I have said this lol. So... frustrating - but its their right to maintain the restrictions they feel they have to. Only real solution is to not worry about it and bypass the place if I cant get to it. No point worrying about the things you can't change imo.

yep..the write-me-to coma Jupiter.with daring, even rhyming together, subsumptions, which in the rarest cases contain facts. He never shies away from talking about other grids like they are. His posts have the length of books. It has also been noted earlier, in another foum, that man apparently has no real life for the time it takes. Even the many links in the posts don't make it any better

changed the HG address to the hg server not the login server, that should help.

It depends what grid you're coming from, you may have to land at the Zetaworlds welcome region and then TP inside the grid. I know some grids don't seem to HG in right, but others do fine.
