DREAMGRID 5.4998 IS OUT!!! :) Please note it is still running on opensim v 0.9.2.2 and has not yet been upgraded to 0.9.3 which ubit released a week ago. OVERWATCH SENTRY V. 30 - AMAZING UPGRADES!
Now has a clickable menu. You can turn it on /off in the menu. You can click the [ban] button on the menu, and select ban by radar, name, ip, or key. This way you can manually add in a name, ip address, or key OR if the person is on your sim at the moment you want to ban them, just click the radar button (sim wide) and click their name on the menu. They are unsat, ejected, tp'd home, and all their info is saved to the appropriate file. No more manual notecard editing (unless you want to...) I hope you all enjoy it. NOW AVAILABLE NEW AT WIZARDRY!!!

If you are an elf you need this hud! :) Recently updated, and many bug fixes.
The hud collapses to a small trifoil button which when clicked expands the buttons of the hud. What the buttons do:
1) Teleport - presents a menu to tp you to anyone in a sim.
2) Spy - presents you menu to zoom in on anyone on your sim.
3) Scrying - rezzes a green ball that you click. This ball has several menus. It is used for finding things. You click the ball and select the type of items you are looking for, such as agents, active, scripted prims, passive prims. Then it shows you a list of all such items near you. Then you click select and click an item in the menu. The ball shoots out a greenish stream of light to point to the item. Great for finding lost tiny things that you can't see.
4) Invisible - Turn off your ao and click invisible and you sink below the ground, seemingly disappearing from view. To return to view just click the round TRI-Foil button. Note clicking the round trifoil button ends most spells.
5) Sanctuary - This rezzes a lovely fantasy elven pavillion created by cat of alternate metaverse grid. Then... It tp's you to the top of your own ivory tower, giving you a view of the lands. To get rid of it when you're done, just click the trifoil button and the entire tower vanishes magically. DREAMGRID 5.497 IS OUT!!! :)
THE JOYS OF DREAMGRID. DreamGrid is a software by Fred Beckheusen that makes it super easy to set up your own grid on windows. Having your own grid means that you can back up your lands at a whim, or on a schedule you set. You also have the power to back up your own inventory. Why is this important? When a grid is down for maintenance you are at the mercy of other people relying on their timeline to get the grid back up and running. Having your own grid also lets you control your own npc's, and gives you vast amounts of power that you don't have if someone else is in charge. If you have a problem with a person you can block their entire grid, or just that person if you don't like them. You can create and control tides, and automate birds flying in the air. Another super cool feature dreamgrid has, is that it lets you just start up the regions people are in, or going to. This means you can have 500 different lands, but if only 10 people are on your grid, then only up to 10 would be active. So basically as people teleport around your 500 lands, only the lands they teleport to instantly load for them to enjoy. This gives you a vast amount of options. DreamGrid even comes with hundreds of ready-made lands you can click and install and instantly enjoy. It also means that you can run hundreds of regions on a small not very powerful computer at your home, as only the active regions people teleport to will be running.
DreamGrid has so many many options and features, to many to mention... That you don't have access to or even dream about if you are a member of someone elses grid. It's easy to run. Now of course there will be some people who have difficulty starting a program or are just technically dumb who will complain about dreamgrid, but these people really shouldn't be allowed near a computer in the first place. DreamGrid is dead simple to operate and has features such as auto restart a crashed region, auto restart all regions at a certain time similiar to secondLife's rolling restarts, and of course the ability to backup all your hard work and your precious inventory at a moments notice. Put it on an external drive and you will never again lose all your data. So give DreamGrid a try! It really is a work of art that deserves praise and recognition.

My Grid recorder project. This project is one where you wear an attachment and when you go to other grids, it gets the name and address of the grid and saves it to a list. Unfortunately it's not very useful as many of the grids I go to have scripts turned off, in which case it doesnt work at all. Or... the hud gets reset on the journey there and doesn't work. So far in the past 2 years I've got a total of 9 grids in the list, although I have been to many many more grids. Thank you for all the nice people I've met out there and the many good people I have met and made friends with. If you are interested in this project for whatever reason, you need to make a website where you can run the php script and you need to wear an attachment that can get the name of the grid and send it to the list in the table. Maybe somebody can think of a use for it.
The MultiSim Status Report hud is now available at wizardry. It's just a button you wear on screen. You click the button and it runs through a list of your sims, (you did edit the script and put in a list of YOUR sims right?), and it checks the status of the simulator for you and posts the result in local chat. The status can be: 1) UP 2) DOWN 3) STARTING 4) STOPPING 5) CRASHED 6) UNKNOWN. This amazing little device can prevent those strange and bizarre problems that happens when a sim is 'half-crashed' and doing weird and funky stuff to your inventory database.

A great alternative to vivox is mumble. It's changed a lot since the mumble-whisper project for opensim back in 2010. I run a mumble server right here at my house, and anyone can connect to it and try it out. On windows just download the mumble client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-windows-x64 or on apple mac download this client https://dl.mumble.info/latest/snapshot/client-macos-x64
Mumble also has clients in most linux package managers already ready to go. Mumble has super high voice quality and it's totally private. I've already used it at my grid with several people and the quality was amazing. Plus the fact the mumble server runs on a small raspberry pi at my home with zero problems. If you wish to connect to it, just use cyberdatastorm.com as the server address and you can try it out on port 64738. There are also mumble 'servers' for windows, mac os, and linux. So you can run it on something besides a raspberry pi, and have your completely secure and private own voice server. I understand a lot of people worry about vivox listening in to their private conversations. ok. Here's an alternative. What's great about it is you can play opensim with mumble in the background so it doesn't affect the game play at all, AND it's great voice quality.

The class will be about all the many many ways greifers and bad people can harm your avatar and lands in the metaverse. Topics that will be addressed include:

3) push scripts
4) bumpers & followers
5) orbiters
6) remote radar scripts
7) text bombs
8) particle bombs
9) dialog crashers
10) sound crashers
11) graphics crashers
12) ddos attacks
13) remote land takeovers
14) stack heap overflow
15) scripting exploits
16) c# exploits
17) viewer modifications
In order to combat, you must understand the attack, and you must know how to fight it.

Presenting The CyberScan. A small handheld channel scanner. To those who need it, it will be invaluable. This one is more sophisticated than many sold on secondLife Marketplace, due to the advanced way listeners are handled in the scripts. It is super low lag, generating none, which is a miracle for a channel scanner. You can use it when you are scripting to listen to messages on a single channel or multiple channels. You can use it as a part of your anti-spy arsenal to listen to the hidden messages floating around in your sim, and make sure someone is not spying on you. You can also use it to troubleshoot sim lag generated by chatty objects, even on negative channels. This is a rare item, as it is the first one I've seen on the open grids. Get it at wizardry, or just ask me.

I originally developed this for my friend Prince of Amor to demonstrate a concept. Though I haven't got in touch with him and told him it's done, as we just talked about it yesterday. Anyway... What is it? It's a dance hud. But it's the most innovative dance hud in all the grids. You dump in a bunch of dances (it comes with some) and the hud counts them, and gets their names. All you do is click the < arrow or the > arrow on the hud to find the dance you want quickly. The name of it will be clearly displayed. Then to play or stop a dance you click the black square [] buttton. That's it. That's all. It's really cool. It's also free at Wizardry. :)

Dreamgrid 5.491 is out. I installed it and experienced issues. For some reason dreamgrid is choosing random port numbers outside the range i forwarded for dreamgrid use. This means that random sims in my dreamgrid are unreachable when i go to teleport. In my case half the sims were offline. It seems if you do not use Upnp, that the latest dreamgrid skips ports in the allocated port list, and chooses some ports in a slightly higher range. If you have a small number of ports allocated, then this means that some sims will come online with a port number outside your forwarded port range making them inaccessible. So beware of this issue.

Angel Dark from the italy grid needed some clickable dice for a game they are playing, so i made these. MY FRIENDS LIST DOESN'T WORK HALF THE TIME.... The reason is very simple. Look at your calling cards, sort inventory by name in the selection field. Many people may find multiple contacts for the same person. Delete the duplicates. I had as many as 40 calling cards for 1 person. Many other cards were duplicated many times as well. Once I removed all the duplicates (by hand), the friends list started working much much better. In all I removed over 5000 duplicates from my friends list. Check it out, it might be you have the same problem. Also check the sub folders too.

This amazing device reports the status of your sims to you in an instant message. This way you can know in advance if there is a problem, and fix it, without letting it drag on for days! What an awesome memorial day! TJ & I had smoked chicken, boston butt, and pork ribs, with potato salad, slaw, macaroni salad, texas toast, bbq baked beans, sweet tea and pecan pie. Tonight we played the board game clue which i picked up at walmart, along with some uno cards. Then I got busy in the kitchen and made a tiramisu cake, vanilla & chocolate petit fours, and white chocolate chip cookies. I sent TJ to the store for butter pecan icecream and we had a rare sweets supper while playing Clue (tm). Just all in all a fun memorial day!
What is a metaverse? I believe it is a virtual universe, where anything can happen! A place of magic and fun and joy. Just like the real universe the metaverse has many planets (grids) and thanks to the wonderful and amazing work of Sir Fred Beckheusen, the creator of dreamgrid, now anyone can have their own entire planet!
There are currently well over 7,000 planets (grids) in the metaverse! It is more populated than we realize. People from other countries with their own customs, languages, and beliefs have set up their own worlds, for others to explore.
I believe this trend will continue and people will spread out farther than ever before creating their own unique places and leaving an indelible mark of their existence upon the virtual cosmos! A complete decentralization of power and authority. No longer subject to the laws of the lindens and secondLife. No one place having authority over all the others. Everyone is free to explore thousands of worlds and make new friends.
With that said, you may also make a few enemies, but it doesn't matter, even if you get banned from an entire world, there are many thousands more out there... I have been exploring worlds of people I never knew existed, meeting new people, and making new friends.

What to do if you missed out on vivox voice? Well. There is a free program for windows/linux/mac called mumble. It has 2 parts. a program that you run as a small server, and a program that you run as a client. Mumble currently supports over 30 games, including such games as call of duty with an overlay plugin. An overlay plugin is not yet developed for opensimulator, however... You can just run the mumble server, then you and your friends can download the mumble client on their mac, linux box, or windows pc, and they can easily connect to your mumble server. Once everyone is on your mumble server they can type chat to each other, or talk voice to each other over their microphone. The game overlay part just adds additional features to the game, so that it appears your voice is coming from a specific location, rather than being ubiquitous. Overwatch Sentry has been upgraded to Version 21 - Thanks to improvements suggested by PrinceOfAmor. These upgrades make the device faster to respond to changes to the internal lists.
Thank you all for making "Wizardry" a great sim. I get hundreds of visitors here! People come to get magical gadgets, or the famous magic huds. I've had so many people pick up copies of the witches hud, the fairy hud, the elven hud, the vampires magic ring hud. I've even had a few people pick up copies of the most powerful magic hud of all, The Wizard Hud. In addition gadgets like the x-ray spy device which let you see active scripts around you when you wear it as a hud, and gadgets like the person lag detector, which shows how much lag people around you are causing. Paw Prints, Magic Aura, Magic Sensor and many of the gadgets have become your personal artifacts, and you have become my friends! This photo is a new remodel of the magic shop in Wizardry, with everything neatly organized and strewn about haphazardly all just for you. P.s. check out the tiny golden chest at the front of the store, it's just brimming over with magical witch items! :)
The difference between Xengine and Yengine...
Yengine has premptive multitasking, xengine does not.
This solves the lsl function problem of llSleep(n); Which could not run on Xengine the same way. On Xengine using llSleep would use one of the cpu's threads and place it in sleep mode. Yengine, simply places a sleep command into a wait queue and keeps the cpu thread available for more processing of other scrips. Xengine is also slower because it translate script to c# language, then uses .net compiler to generate it. Once a script is loaded into Xengine the memory from it cannot be recovered even if the script ends. Yengine scripts recover the ram memory when a script ends, so it can be used by other things for example more visitors to your sim.
Xengine does not follow a true AOS (algebraic operating system) and will evaulate sequences to the wrong boolean expression, Yengine follows AOS to the letter, and will always evaluate expressions mathematically correctly.
Yengine is a modified derivative of XMREngine created by dreamnation and avination. It is faster, uses memory and cpu threads much better than xengine, and thanks to ubit umarov, it is now more stable than Xengine, and all the bugs have been eradicated, that were found.
So you can keep using the outdated broke Xengine, thinking you have gold. But as a professional programmer I realize the average person doesn't understand the importance of memory management, memory leaks, and thread lockup. So it's rather ludicrous for me to waste my time trying to explain why something is better to people who have no concept of professional programming fundamentals. I suppose I should put on my armor for when the attacks from idiots start rolling in...

The Micro Fairies... Someone saw my micro fairies at wizardry and wanted one, so i put one in the dragonfyre sounds box which is on the christmas tree rug at wizardry. If you get this and rez a micro fairy, dont forget to say 'smaller' in local chat so it doesn't push you around. you should only say 'bigger' and then mash control t so you can see it and pick it up to take back into inventory.

It has come to my attention that many of the sound players were broken in dragonfyre due to an opensimulator version upgrade. As a result I have re-made the sound players for dragonfyre and put them in a box at wizardry region. This includes birds, ocean, waterfall, doves cooing, crickets, and more. Simply put these phantom boxes out, and make them transparent. They will play the sounds they are labeled with.

Priscilla paid me a visit. She couldn't do anything to my sim... at all... But I hit her with a bolt of lightning seen here in this video, also with an elven attack, and orbiters (lol), followers, and a clouder. heheheh Double click the picture for a bigger view of priscilla hanging helplessly in the air, being jerked around by magic. hahahaha. How do people arrive at entirely different sides of an argument 180 degrees apart? How can a view point change the meaning of words from black to white? Is it perspective? What can you do to help? Are emotions heated? Is anyone getting hurt? Is what YOU are doing making the situation better? What kind of person are you? The bible says that if you think everyone else is evil, that it is actually YOU who are evil. Learn to love everyone, and always always operate from a base of love. Are you a peace maker? or a trouble maker? Does your joy come from stirring up strife among people? Ask yourself if that is the case why your joy must come from darkness, instead of light? What is wrong with you? How can you change to become a better person?
