For the duck (and any animal) you can click on it and select the 'Info' button to find out which feeder it eats from.

Thanks for pointing out the link, have fixed that now. The 'SatyrFarm Kitchen' is the cooking pot. You can see which item it is on this page https://quintonia.net/information/user-guide/chapter-2-sta...

Hello there and thanks for the post :-) I have to confess I was initially going to use opensim.social as the 'social' but then I found that the .world was on a special offer and at the time it didn't even occur to me about this website so I wasn't trying to conflict or anything. Anyway at the moment this website and the mastodon instance (why don't they call them servers!) are not related in any way other than they are both great resources for sharing and connecting in OpenSim!

By 'no' do you mean it shows a message saying no nutrition in the item, or that nothing shows at all? What is the item you are near? There is a café on the Mintor region (worlds.quintonia.net:8002:mintor) that has food and drink available so you could also try there to see if that works. Whislt there it may be worth you picking up a fresh copy of the HUD if you are still having issues.

If you have the latest version of HUD, when you click 'Inspect' it should then give a list of the items nearby. When you select one if it then says 'Nothing consumable found in: ...' then that means you probably need to make something with it. You can find a list of 'nutrition' values at https://quintonia.net/forum/recipes/267-nutrition-values

If you are near something drinkable and press the 'Inspect' button, does it show any nutrition values?

It's an interesting read and who knows, maybe it will come to OpenSim as new Second Life features often do eventually!

Why? It costs money to host regions and servers. It takes time to make stuff. If people wish to sell things and others are willing to buy them then what's wrong with that. The 'open' in OpenSim is about it being an open system that anyone can contribute to in terms of coding, creating grids, content etc. It's not called FreeSim!

That's because the masses brainwashed by the copybotting mafia say that not only there's no place for commercial creators in OpenSim, but there's no need for them due to the boatloads of copybotted stuff from SL. For the same reason, many of the same people demand the Hypergrid be purged of any and all legal freebies because they're all "crappy" in comparison to the copybotted SL payware.

Seriously, OpenSim users would pirate entire sims if that was possible, and if some content mafia brainwashed them into believing that's the right way to go. And then they'd attack all those grids who charge money for land.

Soyabeans can be grown from the SF Square Field. You can also change the slop recipe if you prefer to use other products. For a list of all products see https://quintonia.net/information/user-guide/products

Contabo (https://contabo.com) have very good prices and servers. I know a few people that use them for opensim

If you want to do that then you would need to use one of the farm systems in Second Life.

RC stands for 'release candidate' and is always shown to let you know it's still in the testing stage.
oh ok. I just don't remember it being there before.

It should only be there if you have release candidate items. Beta items also do this (but show Beta) If you are seeing it on items from the main section of the store (not the beta area) please do let me know.

I am seeing it on animals from the SF Animal Rezzer - Quintonia-V5.9_RC-2. I didn't see it from the older version.

Yes that's the final test release of the next version. You can pick up the current release from the updated Box-1 if you prefer to use that for now.

I recently found out about this and have corrected the issue as soon as I became aware of the problem. You can pick up version 5.8 of the animal script right now and use the updater on your animals from the Mintor store at worlds.quintonia.net:8002 if you wish to use the extra functionality of the Quintonia system.

OK cool i hope more people find it. Does it still use the notecards for storage? i think it 's not a good idea because they seem to create 2 new notecards with every save, as assets arent really ever deleted in opensim ..
I totally forgot that notecards are immutable in SL/OpenSim so using them to store data on a regular basis is not a good idea! The issue partly came about because due to extra features added the description now can't save all the data but after having the notecard issue pointed out I found another way so as not to use notecards.

I'm there now. The region does do restarts now and then so you may have caught it during one of those. Also, try typing in just worlds.quintonia.net:8002 as that should also get you there.

Have you looked at https://directory.shoutcast.com For any station there you can download the Winamp pls file which contains the URL you can set in OpenSim. I also have a free radio you can pick up that has quite a few stations worlds.quintonia.net:8002 in the shop there.

You can store them in the SF Kitchen Storage that you pick up from the front of the store at Mintor ( worlds.quintonia.net:8002 )
