I started out with a skybox in Second Life and had absolutely no interest in building or creating or scripting. My partner and I decided to get some land in Kitely and that's where my interest began. I terraformed Liminal from 0 metres up and wanted to create somewhere in which the internal combustion engine had made no impact. Forest, coast and river float my boat (a rowing boat of course); cars and trucks and planes and ships don't.

I would really like to have a much better understanding of scripting. I can fiddle around with existing scripts and I've created a couple of VERY simple scripts from scratch. I would love to encounter a decent training course but haven't yet.

Life is not a popularity contest.

My own! Pink Floyd, Yes, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Arvo Part, Steeleye Span, Mahler, Holst, all sorts of world and ethnic music .. let's just say .. eclectic.

I'm not much into fiction, so most of my viewing is of documentaries. Most of them are about space exploration, ecology in all aspects, vulcanology and extreme weather .. in no particular order.

Almost exclusively non-fiction and primarily dealing with topics listed in films.

There are plenty of people I admire, but "hero" would be putting it a bit too strongly. We're all fallible folk and most of us are doing the best we know how.

I live in Kitely and commute to work in Second Life.
