Opensim has always been the home of the creative and more tech savy persons.
With the advent of Dreamgrid software and the likes, it makes it easier for the less tech savy person, to create their own grid and the availability of free land on the multitude of grids makes opensim attractive for a lot of ex SL peeps.
We will always have what I call "Transient people", the ones that come in, take a free parcel, do their house, and decorate, get bored a month or two later and move on - this will always happen.
But the creative people have a passion for making stuff that is useful and fun - this is what keeps them here. I also feel if people have a sense of ownership - being part of a team, or a community - that will keep them interested and busy.
I am always busy - I have millions of things to do, my brain won't stop. I build, script, dabble in mesh, graphics - and I have a great circle of friends in other grids as well, that I can bounce ideas off.
But sadly, not everyone has the creative bug, and need to be entertained to get their jollies, and sadly, there is only so many ways to be entertained, until some other interest takes over for them.
The fix - get creative, network with others, expand your horizons.
There is much more out there, than your parcel of land, or your lonely little grid with a few regions on it.
Get out and connect with people.
This message is for those that find themselves bored with opensim - get out there and do stuff.

Its the difference between creators and consumers! I am also a dabbler and never bored in OS also have a long list of things I want to learn about and create.

I, for one, love to build, create, decorate and design as you well know and I don't plan on leaving any time soon though we all agree that real life must come first.

That's my clan's abode. I can usually be seen at the top, looking around the lands, while being protected by the catapults mounted on the towers. We have parcels available to suitable candidates who wish to become a vampire, or maybe a pagan witch.

This is a project that was completed with the assistance of the Neverworld Grid building team, with many generous beta testers, that had to deal with my many versions of scripts. A good team project. By all means, come for a visit, but if you intend to be a vampire, become a member of the grid and reap the benefits.

Hi and thanks for the review. I have put in a lot of work on those various systems, to get them to work. I have another shop on Thundersnow region, that showcases my vampires and stuff. There may be more updated toys at Thundersnow as well.

This would not happen if you took the time to read the description and prepare your avatar before entering the sim. System avatars ONLY. No mesh or prim attachments are allowed. This is part of the user experience, and anyone who chooses not to comply with the guidelines chooses to be sent away. Peace to you.

Brilliant. Love it's urban simplicity, and it just works. Nice small size that is easy to navigate, and not get lost in a larger region. Glad you used some of my monsters too :)

Unable to visit the grid, as the teleport fails with the error "unable to verify identity". Please fix this
