AB 2426, Irwin. Consumer protection: false advertising: digital goods.
Existing law makes it unlawful for any person doing business in California and advertising to consumers in California to make any false or misleading advertising claim. Existing law makes a person who violates specified false advertising provisions liable for a civil penalty, as specified, and provides that a person who violates those false advertising provisions is guilty of a misdemeanor.
This bill would, subject to specified exceptions, additionally prohibit a seller of a digital good from advertising or offering for sale a digital good, as defined, to a purchaser with the terms “buy,” “purchase,” or any other term which a reasonable person would understand to confer an unrestricted ownership interest in the digital good, or alongside an option for a time-limited rental, unless the seller receives at the time of each transaction an affirmative acknowledgment from the purchaser, or the seller provides to the consumer before executing each transaction a clear and conspicuous statement, as specified. By expanding the scope of a crime, this bill would impose a state-mandated local program....

i'm talking about their "marketplace" they offer digital assets for "sale" that neither the creator nor the consumer "own" but and the use of the digital assets is controlled by LL, which has a nexus in California. Anyhow I think they need to update their marketplace site since they do business in California. Possibly this has some impact on their legal endeavor regarding IP and assets but IANAL.

I think i took a Fortran class once. I build and make things and script stuff and i share, i always try to give away my stuff full perm, but sometimes i forget or don't do it right but if anyone asks i send it to them.

A friend in SL never wore clothes for over a decade, and being active in the SL Driver's Group she had to go really fast through G-lands. Of course she only drove convertible cars with the top down. I spent a day with her driving around and decided it was fun to do but I only lasted about 8 hours before I missed wearing outfits and abandoned that idea.

I put the grid map on a 5m x 5m prim and anywhere you touch you are teleported to that area. Obviously we have a map in the viewer lol. But With the dynamically generated map i can display the parcels created on the grid with the parcel name and more information could be displayed on flyouts next to the map. Could be turned into a hud too i suppose, which maybe better for the game.

will definitely check this out. i've been using inkscape to create the text, then break it into paths and export svg. import into blender. but your way looks better
