IMAGE is a highly configurable, drop-in game engine for OpenSim 0.9x. It’s currently in LIVE BETA and will be released under CC BY-NC after the beta concludes.

Requirements: You must be grid/region owner-level with OSSL enabled and permissions configured for owner-only deployment.

Essential OSSL used (owner-level): NPC control: osNpcCreate, osNpcRemove, osNpcMoveTo, osNpcStopMoveTo, osNpcSit, osNpcStand, osNpcSay / osNpcShout / osNpcWhisper, osNpcPlayAnimation / osNpcStopAnimation Engine messaging: osMessageObject UI / dynamic display: osSetDynamicTextureData, osSetDynamicTextureURL, osDrawText

The tutorial is a comprehensive script-driven build series you’ll initially obtain in-world. These scripts include everything needed to assemble a complete game system, from weapon logic to scoreboard UI and beyond. Training and materials are hosted at our learning center. Whether you’re a novice or a competent builder, you’ll finish with a custom game engine you designed yourself, complete with your own weapons, monsters, and rules.

I’m incentivizing the beta: ACTIVE testers (people who report issues and test the fixes) will receive a complete IMAGE system to take home and customize.
