We invite you to join us in a celebration of worship, Christian fellowship, study and service. When you become a part of our exciting journey of faith, you will be encouraged, challenged and rewarded with renewed faith and power. The region is "sim on demand" so it is offline when not in use.
Stop looking at you. Look at Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). He will write your faith upon your heart as you look at Him. He will finish your faith with His faith and get the job done (your healing).
Not to give away too much - we should join our local church to use our spiritual gifts, to learn more about Jesus, to be held accountable and receive help in our spiritual walk, and to serve others and the community-- and like the cheesy tv ads "And there's More!" :P
"To have a newfound understanding of a topic or concept. The teacher spent extra time going over the material in class because she wanted her students to get a grip on the subject matter before they took the exam." And it's ok if you wanna hum the Aerosmith version, just keep it low :P
Not the Book of Face, anyone can get in there (but staying in isn't that easy for some of us :P), but that book that establishes your place in Eternity. How does one get in? Can we be "blotted out"? All this and more this Sunday morning - don't miss it :)
No one has more freedom than a follower of Christ, by surrendering to the Lordship of Christ. Wow. Let's flesh these concepts out this morning and together get a better understanding of the costs and benefits of our new found liberty.
It is not hard to become a Christian—we are called to believe and follow Christ. But it is hard to faithfully follow him to the end. It is hard to have a successful Christian life. How exactly do we do that?
Adversity is not simply a tool. It is God's most effective tool for the advancement of our spiritual lives. The circumstances and events that we see as setbacks are oftentimes the very things that launch us into periods of intense spiritual growth. Once we begin to understand this, and accept it as a spiritual fact of life, adversity becomes easier to bear.
If you do not expect the unexpected you will not find it, for it is not to be reached by search or trail. Heraclitus
The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish. Proverbs 10:28
Christianity is a unique, wonderful, amazing experience that is filled with all sorts of positive things, but it can also be severely frustrating. Let's look at some of the assumptions and stereotypes today.
That age old debate - what saves us? It's a hotly debated subject, and it defines your walk here and your eternity. Knowing the difference can be the difference between a fruitful joyful life, and a life of duty and fear. Break those chains today and gain a clear understanding of our salvation!
Today, we are going to change the way you look at God, the World, and ourselves! We are made for so much MORE! It's time Faith Chapel experiences a paradigm shift in belief, practice, and expectations! Come hungry :)
The Christian Life is not one of ease, or a life of fantasy that no matter how we live there will be no negative consequences. Instead we are called to a higher standard, or "calling". Easter is a time to remember all that we've been given - to give in response to our new realities, or new lives. It may not be easy at times. Sometimes, as the band Nazareth put so eloquently - "Love hurts".
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.“Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?”
