This is a really nice little airport butted up against some other regions that give a good fly - ** in bulletsim ** - and this is the one thing. I brought a bunch of my ubODE models, and predictably, because of the significant changes to flying models, they fly embarassingly poorly there, although in my ubODE grid my models fly great. Bullet scripts fly fine for small regions, they're slow and pretty easy to control. Without criticising anybody - least of all criticising the Banning International folks - we're at a point where you can't fly aircraft designed in Bullet on ubODE, and vice versa. It's not a simple matter of "adjusting".. I just took Shin Ingen's helicopter script "with ODE mode" and had to add hover to it to get them off the ground, the physics are really different, I'm aware of the differences. Knowing the direction the dev team is taking the physics (notice I've gone ubODE) I'm just calling out that scripts will not work on different physics, and I don't think Bullet is going to be the winner in the physics battle. The sim is great - but it's Bullet and that's going to be more and more an issue over time. So that's why I'm hitting on the accuracy there. I'm probably going to get arguments about this, look I am not a dev, but I'm writing scripts now in ubODE because they work well. Complain to the devs.
