This image is an elve in the Chinese way. These wind effects can be found in Tibetan thangkas. However, the New Age-style color scheme (pure rainbow or pastel colors) led the artist to make the hair dark gray instead of the black which makes the beauty of Asians ladies. I took the risk of darkening the hair, but the effect can be quite surprising.
