The Cologne Rose Monday parade is the largest carnival parade in Germany and the highlight of the Cologne carnival, which takes place on Rose Monday. The “Zoch”, which has been held since 1823, is also the oldest of the large German Rose Monday parades.
The parade of costumed foot groups, bands, riders, floats and support vehicles is around eight kilometers long and attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators.
