Any marginalized person can become "militant" based on their own group. It's important to learn, listen, educate ourselves, stay in our lane, etc. As a white woman from Texas who is technically a boomer, but identifies as Gen X...I have had to work very hard to listen, learn, and empathize. It doesn't help that we are trapped in a timeline where "bootstrapping" is viewed as a virtue, and not a symptom of true dystopia.
