At that time I roleplayed the healer Hawpanyu and have cool knowledge to share with you. Yes! Joe you are right, To enhance the roleplaying experience in OpenSim, collaboration between different roleplay grids could be a game-changer. When OpenSim roleplay grids work together, they can tap into larger player pools and generate more interest.
The failure of some roleplay grids in OpenSim often stems from a lack of sufficient interest and a small player base. By joining forces, grids could expand their reach, attract more players, and create a more dynamic and engaging environment for roleplayers. This is exactly what @FitheachEun does when possible. She contacted me to see if I would be interested in having her RP group visit my iknimaya RP which I would have loved but our backstory didn't exactly fit what she had in mind for the roleplay. I'm open to your RP group joining us at Iknimaya. As long as we stick to the backstory and theme of our RP, which is set before the RDA arrives, focusing on clan activities and challenges for roles within the clan.

The betas have always been in the testing phase. Fred suggested that it is not necessary to update to each new beta if you are currently running fine. When you do get up and running again, and happy with the way grid runs, keep it that way. I know that JOpensim gave you issues in the past I hope you get that all resolved. That is a third party app, you might reach out to them. I know Richard helped me install components of Joomla, I never installed the Jopensim I didn't have members or any reason to track the grid etc. I wish you the best with getting restored 🪷🪷💕

In fact, for productive, daily-driver grids, I'd suggest sticking with stable releases. And even then I'd only upgrade to a new stable release if I knew for certain enough that it hasn't blown up in anyone's face.
Fortunately, OpenSim itself isn't currently in a state in which there's only a painfully outdated stable release, and some everyday features are only available in bleeding-edge alpha versions.

thank you for unblocking me, we know there betas and this time i didnt want to with past beta issues with apache but my tech guy likes to fool around and if he is doing the work i let him lol.
But eventually we know we will have to upgrade when it gets outdated. but i think we are one of the very few who uses joomla and needs apache. so by us testing it that helps fred out. we rolled back for now, Apache has been broken for a few betas now, but emails and mantis has been done. I am so great full for dreamgrid and fred. I am in no way complaining just letting people and grid members know because when its broken, profiles and etc dont work.
The answer about JOpensim , foto has promised for a few years to update that and we have yet to see it. attempted to contact via in world and email and no response. however other things are being in the works for updating that so fingers crossed.

I use Apache it is up and running fine for me, I have WordPress the Joomla site worked great for me though. But I do remember you always had some issue with it, that is why I suggest checking out the Jopensim site they have tips there and you can ask your questions directly. For me Apache is up, and yes I did block you and apologize, I was reacting you coming to my grid to demand why Fred hadn't contacted you. You may not remember that. At the time you came, our MeWe group was under attack by trolls it was hard to discern who my friends were. Fred has a Mantis where people can report and see you have reported there, this though is Jopensim a third party addon, and depending on your settings etc is how it affects it, everyone has different setups, too many variables. That community https://www.jopensim.com/ is where I would go to see if they have any suggestions. Best Wishes!

Unfortunately, it's impossible to completely eliminate malicious intent through online policing alone. However, we can establish clear guidelines and enforce them strictly to create a safer environment. In the past child avatars had the undergarments "painted on the skin" but people who use them for other reasons bend these rules. Same with the adult furniture. I am not sure what the answer is but I feel OS needs to be a safe place where even children can explore (most are adults acting as children, but still.) All the beauty and magic of a new region to explore, do you remember what that feels like? Exploring and meeting new friends, to collaborate and build new dreams. That is my opensim. My regions are all marked to G, no sex allowed.
