On April 9th, the Board of Directors convened and resolved to augment its membership by two individuals, thereby ensuring a quorum. Subsequently, it was unanimously decided to extend membership offers to Unadecal Masala and Roland Francis. I am pleased to confirm that both candidates graciously accepted, and on April 11th, our inaugural board meeting took place, yielding fruitful outcomes.

The newly appointed board members will undertake pivotal responsibilities, including reviewing and adjudicating art submissions, voting on prospective projects, and contributing to strategic decisions concerning the gallery's operations. Additionally, they will engage in various board-related duties.

To foster creativity, we are excited to announce the integration of a dedicated workspace within the gallery premises, facilitated by a small sim. This space will serve as a collaborative hub for artists, providing an opportunity for mutual encouragement, support, and artistic synergy within the Open Sim community.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to Una and Roland on their appointments. Your expertise and commitment will undoubtedly enrich our board, and we eagerly anticipate your contributions.

Allow us to invite you to join our Friends of The Genesis Roleplay Grid HUD. Here we'll place a walk through (collision) teleporter with your logo and grid address so that when people walk through they will be teleported to your grid and the region you select. At Genesis Roleplay Grid we are working to create a more positive and cooperative atmosphere in Open Sim and we're doing it by networking grids and sharing anything that we can to help our "Friends'" grids succeed. One of my very favorite flowers is the Gladiolus, and I haven't really seen any anywhere in Open Sim so, I got busy and did my best to reproduce my beloved flowers here in virtual so I can share them with everybody else. These flowers always make me smile they are so regal and beautiful. You can find them at the Star Jinn Palisade Mall in our Masala Al Kohav region at the "Create A Scene Garden Center". This coming Saturday, April 13th, will be our grids first official dance of the year and we're celebrating having survived the eclipse! It promises to be a really fun time with fun friends and an awesome DJ, Maldrul Smith. Join us as we celebrate this milestone of 2024 for our Grid. I have often considered my underwater worlds
to be my best build ever. It took 6 months to find things, build
destroy, build, adjust and redo. Much of the time was spent searching.

This week I realized.....the best thing I can do for Opensim

I felt the earth move under my feet in NYC today. Thank goodness my Brownstones in Indigo Industries are still standing.

We are so not used to earthquakes on the east coast but this is the second one this year. The one we had in January however I didn't feel at all but people up in the Bronx did. The one today I felt it. And it lasted too long to me.
Did any of you feel the quake today in NYC or NJ or PA or anywhere in the NorthEast of the United States?

No, this is not a hallocination.....This is the Twin Sim to Cockatiels paradise called " Paraiso das Calopsitas ". The whole sim is still under construction but at least Froggie Ponds creations are back. Even the artwork on the pictures for the items is genius. There you can see how much love and details she had put in.

ECLIPS GLOBAL MASS MEDITATION ON SAMSARA!!

As we all know we are facing an Eclips on the 8th of April.
Samsara is organizing a meditation at the same time the Global Mass Meditation will start in RL with all the lightworkers on earth. Consider yourself a lightworker when you feel any connection with this, cos You are!
We will start at 11.18 AM grid time. It will take a 20 minutes but your always welcome to stay longer.
Here are some guidelines for you regarding the eclips and the mass meditation.

Come on time please when you decide to participate, We start exact on 11.18. If you later, please make sure your voice is off, enter the dhamma hall and be in noble silence and take your seat.
Meditation stream will be given out at your presence at location.

I advice you to burn a candle and burn some incense to your desire in RL...make yourself comfortable wearing wide clothes, specially white or indigo or light blue...let your hair hang down as it is, open our crown chakra...and be in peace with yourself totally, ;)

Finally completed, though there may be upgraded versions in the future. The Chateau de Marqueur Royal Manor, a creation of my imagination is massive and as over 1500Li, but in open sim I'm told that's a drop in the bucket. Anyway, it has two large royal living chambers that you can decorate as you like, 12 guest or employee rooms each with their own fireplace, and there is ample space for kitchen, dining, library, and a social/ballroom. It has two massive dual sided marble fireplaces that are a little fancy, beautifully carpeted stairs and unique banisters. It also has a huge inground pool shrouded from prying eyes by lightweight curtains. I think you'll find this build enjoyable and fun and it's waiting for you in the Star Jinn Palisade Mall on the Masala Al Kohav region. It's free, and it's full perm. You can find it in the Isle de Marqueur region of our grid. ( grid.genesis-roleplay.org:8002: Isle de Marqueur ) It is boxed and waiting by the pool at the Chateau. Blessings and much love, Lavia
